Creamy Carrot Soup

On the cold winter days people usually eat heavy fatty food. I'm okay with that. But I like my meal to be balanced. So If I'm having some beef or pork, let's say, for lunch i have to have some garnish to go with it and it's not always the healthiest or lightest option, like potato or rice, than I always choose to have some light starter.

Today I have decided to cook a nice creamy carrot soup. Very easy to cook and done in thirty minutes. Not to mention that a little turmeric powder and a pinch of cinnamon makes you feel like it's Christmas in your mouth.

So here is my recipe in case you wish to try it out!

Ingredients:

500 grams CARROT (washed and peeled)

One medium onion (roughly around 220 grams)

2 garlic cloves

1.200 liter of vegetable bullion

5 grams of turmeric powder

A pinch of cinnamon

250 ml of cooking cream

Procedure:

Cut the carrots and onion to small pieces, peel the garlic cloves and leave them in piece, put them in the pot with spices and cover them with the bullion. Bring to boil and cook until all the vegetables are soft, cooked. Add the cream and bring one more time to boil.

Transfer to a blender and blend on high speed.

Your Creamy Carrot Soup is ready to serve.
